My teaching is based on healthy vocal technique in which the body is free and active, aligned but not rigid, and the core smoothly delivers air through the resonance of the mask. Nothing is forced or artificial. I use vocal exercises and body positions to unlock old habits and build a technique in which the voice is natural, colorful, and capable across its entire range.
I coach repertoire in the major European languages (Italian, French, German, English, and Spanish) ranging from art song to lieder to opera arias. The supportive experiences in my studio build a confident foundation that will enable you to grow as an artist and navigate the challenges of a professional career.
I also work with amateur singers who have passion and discipline and with teachers and leaders who need vocal skill to address an audience with confidence and without fatigue.
About my students
The Enivia Mure Vocal Studio is dedicated to nurturing the talent of singers. My Students from beginners or amateurs to seasoned professionals, are passionate about honing their vocal skills. I work closely with each individual to enhance their unique voice and style.

The pathway and vocal techniques used are customized in each lesson – starting with the state of the singer's voice that day. Each lesson provides just the right level of challenge, surrounded with joy and encouragement.

In person or online
I work with students in person at my studio in the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City, or online via WhatsApp, FaceTime or Video call, all of which have excellent sound quality. The online format has proven to be effective!
Most students have a lesson, 2 or 3 every week. Professionals can request short-term, intensive work to help them prepare for auditions and upcoming roles.
All students are encouraged to come to Mexico City to participate in masterclasses, and to join the online professional development events described below.
Repertoire and Languages
I have extensive knowledge of the opera repertoire, character roles, art song and lieder. I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in Italian and English, trained in German and French, and have mastered the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), which allows me to coach in less-familiar languages such as Czech.
I am delighted to help singers choose and prepare repertoire for auditions, and to craft their character for on-stage performance.
Most students have one lesson every week, and I am also happy to offer 2 or 3 lessons per week upon request, for example, to prepare for auditions or performance roles.

My Teaching
As my career developed, I was blessed with excellent vocal instruction, participated in masterclasses by wonderful opera singers, and was coached by producers and directors in major opera houses. I made every effort to absorb the approaches and suggestions they offered, from which I have developed a repertoire of teaching methods to address the many issues in singing.
I have now taught for over 15 years, which has given me the opportunity to observe and understand the vocal issues of a wide range of students, and the experience to guide them towards healthy technique and expressive interpretation.
Among my opera mentors, I am particularly indebted to Virginia Zeani, who took me under her wing of experience; and to Monserrat Caballé, Rene Fleming, Sherill Milnes, Bruna Baglioni, and Jaume Aragall for their insightful and inspiring masterclasses.
Special Events
I organize annual special events to provide performance experience and foster professional development for my students. These are wonderful occasions for the students to get to know each other, and learn from each other, in a mutually supportive environment.
Masterclass weeks (in person) provide intensive vocal training and public performance opportunities in Mexico City, as well as a group workshop in acting. One format is Ciclo de Ciclos, in which each student prepares a song cycle to perfect and perform. Both the masterclass lessons and performances are accompanied by professional pianists.
Gratitude events (online) feature lectures by renowned professional artists from a wide variety of related areas. Examples include breathing, acting, Zarzuela, and audio recording.
